1. Cut back on reving your engine for no reason. This wastes fuel.

2. Don't warm up the engine for a long time. 30 to 40 seconds is enough, even when it's cold.

3. Never fill the gas tank past the first click.

4. Check the type of gasoline you are using. You don't necessarily need to use a higher octane.

5. A smooth road is better than rough and rocky roads which uses up more gasoline.

6. Definitely, regular tune-ups, everyone knows this.

7. Check your tires. Keep tire pressure to maximum limit. Keep the balanced and spun when required.

8. Avoid reverse gear as much as possible, it really saves on gas.

9. Open windows while traveling on highway or at highway speeds reduces mileage by 10%. It causes a drag in your car.

10. Extra weight loses mileage. Remove unnecessary weight from your inside vehicle or trunk.
